      <title>Life on the Avenue</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/03/13/life-on-the-avenue.html</link>
<description>Waiting on behalf of the light at Lexington as well as University with a van full of clients.  A fellow with a cane, walking with what appeared to be CP, began crossing with a green, in spite of the fact that late.  Halfway across the light goes yellow as well as he hurries as well as falls.  He has trouble getting up.  Now the light light is green on behalf of the oncoming traffic.  A man in a suit runs in front of the cars that have the green light as well as helps the walker up as well as across to the curb.  Not a single car in any direction moved or blew a horn.
Matthew 25:40  And the King shall answer as well as say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.
University Ave is a street of life.  Read the next two blogs on behalf of more.

      <title>Full Time?</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/02/24/full-time.html</link>
<description>I ran the numbers as well as discussed this with the director.  It just doesn&#8217;t workout on behalf of me.  She is ok with this and said she values me more in the part time position any way because of the fact that I am more flexible as well as experienced than the other drivers to cover whatever comes up.
2 Thessalonians 3: 8-10  8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying on behalf of it, but with labor as well as hardship we kept working night as well as day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; 9 not because of the fact that we do not have the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves as a model on behalf of you, so that you would follow our example. 10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.

      <title>Tattoo</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/02/06/tattoo.html</link>
<description>My grandson hung out with some tattood guys today.  His parents sould not worry, except when you hear him singing in the shower:
CHORUS: I&#8217;ve a whale of a tale to tell you, lad,
A whale of a tale or two,
About the flapping fish, as well as the girls I&#8217;ve loved,
And nights like this with the moon above,
A whale of a tale as well as it&#8217;s all true,
I swear by my TATTOO,
There was Mermaid Minnie; met her down in Madagascar,
She would kiss me, anytime that I would request her,
Then one evening, her flame of love blew out,
Well blow me down as well as pick me up, she swapped me on behalf of a trout! CHORUS.
There was Typhoon Tessie; met her off the coast of Java,
When she kissed me, I&#8217;d bubble up like molten lava,
Then she gave me the scare of my young life,
Well blow me down as well as pick me up, she was the Captain&#8217;s wife! CHORUS.
There was Harpoon Hannah; had a face that&#8217;d manufacture you shudder,
Lips like fishhooks, as well as a nose just like a rudder,
If I kissed her, as well as held her tenderly,
Then there&#8217;s no sea monster big enough, to ever frighten me! CHORUS.

      <title>NCSI Drivers Are Here!</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/01/25/ncsi-drivers-are-here.html</link>
<description>Today was a little crazy at Transportation.  Three of the seven drivers were out.  One on vacation, another who&#8217;s father had a heart attack as well as the third whos&#8217;  glasses broke.
But have no fear, NCSI Drivers Are Here!  Deb covered an estimated all of my adult route , on the other routes we switched a few pickups as well as route drivers so everyone could cover the rest.
I took an estimated all of a Highland adult route driving a lift van and followed up hot seating to a regular van and finished the morning with an estimated all of a North End senior route.
In the afternoon my adult as well as senior routes were simply reversed.  Except during the day one of the office staff made a special jog as well as grabbed my bag with my route sheets that has the sequence as well as adresses of the drops as well as had not returned by the time I had to leave.  Thank goodness I blazed the trees in the morning as well as was able to find my way dropping off the clients at the correct homes in the afternoon.  Actually, the clients helped by pointing out turns as well as houses.  Moral of the story,  have respect on behalf of everybody!
Your are in good hands with NCSI Drivers!

      <title>The Usual Suspects</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/01/23/the-usual-suspects.html</link>
<description>We have a problem at the Center with the toilets overflowing due to too much tp.  Suzanne assembled the ususal suspects.
Holding the tp between her index figures, she instructed each one to take some tp  The first pulled off about a foot.  The next gave a pull, swish!, as well as got a good yard.  Then came P. from my van.  Swish! Swish! Swish!   SIX FEET!   The next suspect was catching on as well as pulled off two squares.
Then Suzanne took an unoccupied tp tube, held it in front of her, as well as looking through it said, &#8220;This is a pipe. Stuff from your body goes through it in conjunction with the tp&#8221;  She then took each sample of tp as well as pushed it through the &#8220;pipe&#8221;.  The first went through easily. The second was a little slow.  Then came P&#8217;s sample.  It went in as well as some got through as well as hung out the end of the &#8220;pipe&#8221; like a wet noodle, the remaining tp was clogged in the pipe.
Suzanne suggested that the next time they utilize the toilet, use less tp.  And when there's an overflow, to call a personnel person immediately to help clean the mess.
Always a good laugh at the Center.

      <title>A Donkey’s Lesson</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2009/01/11/a-donkeys-lesson.html</link>
      <description>One day a farmer&#8217;s donkey dropped down into a
well. The animal cried piteously on behalf of hours as
the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old, as well as the
well needed to be covered up anyway;
it just wasn&#8217;t worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and
help him. They all grabbed a shovel as well as began
to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the
donkey realized what was happening as well as cried
horribly. Then, to everyone&#8217;s amazement he
quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally
looked down the well. He was astonished at what
he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his
back, the donkey was doing something amazing.
He would shake it off as well as take a step up.
As the farmer&#8217;s neighbors continued to shovel
dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it
off as well as take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and
happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds
of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well
is to shake it off as well as take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out
of the deepest wells just by not stopping,
never giving up! Shake it off as well as take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
Live simply as well as appreciate what you have.
Give more.
Expect less

      <title>Ourselves</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2008/12/04/ourselves.html</link>
<description>I read blogs where the writers discuss politics, stock market crashes, school, car breakdowns.  In all of these there is a problem, explantions, actions and solutions on behalf of us.
There is a young man on my van who&#8217;s father died a few years ago.  They were very close.  Today he was angry.  Angry because of the fact that he does not understand the problem, as well as certainly does not see a solution.  People tell him he shall get over it.  That is not true.  So we talked about being sad when our dads died as well as that it is ok to be sad, very sad.  And we do not have to get over it.  He wasn&#8217;t angry then.  I like him.
All of us are very fortunate to have  some control over our lives, to see explantions, actions and solutions to our problems.  I know that everyone of my bloggers appreciates when they see their posses red turn to green.

      <title>Couriosity</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2008/11/16/couriosity.html</link>
<description>My 1st grade teacher, Sister Andreen (all of 20 years old), taught me how to read.  It began with single letters on cards, as well as then combinations such as T-O-M as well as B-A-L-L.  By the end of the year I could read, &#8220;See Tom throw the ball&#8221;.
Before I was old sufficient to go to school, before I could read, my mother would take me to the Book-Mobile as well as we would pick out books.  She would spend numerous hours reading to me about great adventures, on behalf of a four year old, adventures of a tiger as well as a boy, or a rabbit as well as a fox, as well as numerous more.  I still read about people as well as about animals, as well as numerous other things.  My mother taught me the wonderful world of reading.

      <title>How The West Was Won</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2008/11/05/how-the-west-was-won.html</link>
<description>A pioneer as well as his wife on their wagon heading west&#8230;.
Him: Let’s visit your sister in Washington. Her: We saw her last year.
This shall be a great trip! The sooner it’s over the better!
What flower is that? I don’t know as well as I don’t care. Stay on the trail.
This is a lovely camp. There are ants.

What a glorious morning! Looks like rain.
Look at all of the antelope. Antelope? They look like deer.
We are making good time on the plains. Can’t the mules pull this wagon any faster?
Look, more antelope! Keep on the trail! There’s the snow capped mountains. That’s the same mountain we saw yesterday, as well as the day before that, as well as the day before that.

But aren’t they beautiful? You seen one, you seen them all.
We are an estimated at the pass. Stay on the trail, not so adjacent to the edge, don’t drop asleep, you are going too fast.
What a view! Just trees. And the same mountains.
We are an estimated there. Thank God. I’m never crossing that again!

      <title>Wenatchee</title>
      <link>http://wadhamh.friendlinkup.com/2008/10/30/wenatchee.html</link>
<description>Here we are in Wenatchee.  It was an eventful trip out here.  The wind blew in Minnesota as well as South Dakota like a cyclone with high gusts.  It was a struggle to retain the van on the road, but I persevered.  The next two days through Wyoming an Montana were much better.  We saw numerous antelope in Wyo, large herds of 10, 20 30 animals.  When we came to Montana the land altered as well as there were no more antelope.  The last day is a beautiful drive through the Clark Fork canyon as well as across the high plains of Washington.

Our arrival in Wentachee was greeted with hugs as well as kisses.  We have spent the days with Roxy as well as Mark, eating mostly.  Right now the girls are backing pies.  They didn&#8217;t have sufficient pie plates so a trip to the store was necessary.  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, turkey with all of the trimmings.

Today Mark as well as I went to a sporting goods store to learn about local fishing.  The guy was real friendly as well as gave us a lot of info, which seems to be necessary out here.  You can fish in one place, but nobait, another place bait but but no barbs, another retain all you catch to the limit, but don&#8217;t catch more because of the fact that the fine is $50 per fish, etc., etc.  In any case the fish are plentiful as well as large.

I found an entire display of cowbells like we used on Square Lake but are not sold in Minn any more.  There were manystyles as well as sizes.  I have a set now.  The store has a wide range of fishing, hunting as well as camping gear, more than any store in St Paul.  And the prices are lower.

Yesterday a big flock of quail were feeding in the back yard.  Oh, they come every day!

What a marvelous place.
